The commission process begins with an email and/or phone conversation to discuss what you have in mind. First, check out the paintings in the shop or on Instagram for inspiration. Once we settle on the perfect size I’ll provide you with pricing. From there I welcome any photos, fabrics, color swatches or simply any bit of inspiration that contributes to your vision including stories, special memories or concepts you wish to share. You may be wondering – why is all that necessary? All the bits of information I collect will become an integral part of the process and my state of mind as I create your unique piece.

Once we discuss the above and a contract and deposit are received, based on our conversations I will provide you with a palette for approval. Depending on the concept a sketch may be provided as well. As we move forward in the process I will touch base and share photos along the way so that we stay on the same page from conception to approval, and I can make any adjustments as I move through the layers and process of creating. 

While I cannot guarantee nor aim to create an exact replication of any painting; I will do my best to accommodate style requests. Through communication, combining our visions and allowing for artistic creativity, my goal is to ensure your expectations are not just met but exceeded!

Timelines are based on size, quantity, and detail, so most commissions take four to eight weeks to complete plus shipping should it be applicable. Please note commissions require a signed contract and a 50% non-refundable deposit upon agreement.
